Cities Reborn: The Marshall Plan and the New York City Housing AuthorityCities Reborn: The Marshall Plan and the New York City Housing Authority
"Cities Reborn" is the last of four 60-second advertisements created for Citi by BBC Advertising and independent production company, Tern. These ads, filmed in documentary style, will be broadcast on BBC World News during the commercial breaks of the Citi-sponsored series, "One Day In..." which profiles a dozen of the world's greatest cities. They can be seen during the run of the series on BBC World News through mid November. This final ad is about Citi's role in rebuilding cities, including its support for the US Government's Marshall Plan, which helped revive post-war Europe; and its financial support of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) in undertaking the nation's largest-ever affordable housing rehabilitation project. It features commentary by John Rhea, head of NYCHA.
