Happiness Is a Solo Thing

You are the master of your own domain. Happiness is found within. No one or nothing can actually make you happy. Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain that make some feel sad constantly while others can overcome this imbalance and still be productive. Happiness works in a similar way. It is not because of a new job. or new car. or new house that your level of happiness will increase drastically. If you are prone to being a happy person, none of these new changes in your life will make you happier than what you are already. The same goes for the ones that are unhappy. Maybe your level of unhappiness might change because of these new acquisitions, but might go back to being unhappy shortly right after. Its a innate feeling, not acquired.
