2017 News Archive: Bohol PD wants probe on twin robberies
Bohol provincial director Sr. Supt. Felipe Natividad has ordered a full-blown investigation on the twin robberies on the town hall of Anda and Balilihan.
The scene of the crime operatives have gathered the fingerprints of the employees as part of the investigation.
On Monday, the town halls of Anda and Balilihan were robbed. Anda lost about P300,000. Two employees of the town hall discovered the main door of the town hall was already open at about 4:30 a.m.
The employees also saw the door of the treasurer's office was already open and the money case reportedly forcibly opened. The main door of the town hall there were no signed of being forcibly opened.
In Balilihan, reports said suspect carted around P97,000 from the safety valuts reportedly using a saw. The crime was discovered at around 6 a.m. when the first employee of the town hall reported for work.
Meanwhile, netizens expressed fury over the incidents on social media. The members of a Facebook group associated with the town of Anda showed their fury due to the incidents.
