Poverty eradication programs not enough
Published January 10, 2001 - Bohol Chronicle

The interventions for poverty eradication now is never enough, says Gov. Rene Relampagos in a message during the Lingap Para sa Mahirap Program review, held at the JJ’s Foodstream, January 4-5, 2001.
The governor asked for more unified coordination of efforts and strengthened relationships between national agencies and local government units to successfully make a dent in the problem and eventually come out with a winning plan.
However, the governor admitted, it makes a different to the individual Filipinos who are recipients of the program.
Strongly relating the Provincial Government’s commitment in the goals set nationwide and provincewide for the poverty alleviation program, Relampagos laid bare his administration’s program that are now eagerly accepted at the barangay and even at the purok levels.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
