Political Positioning in Bohol
« on: March 28, 2021, 12:36:13 PM »
2017 News
For the first time, Cabinet Secretary Leoncio “Toloy” Evasco Jr. yesterday met with many mayors of Bohol in what appeared to be an advanced political positioning strategy intended for the 2019 local elections, sources said.

Already more visible at many local events in Bohol than at activities in the national scene, Evasco yesterday made his presence more imposing in the province’s political landscape at the Dao Diamond Hotel as he held dialogues with mayors about possible funding of local projects.

The mayors were expecting something bigger than a political confession from Evasco, but their attendance was more of a form of courtesy accorded to a Cabinet official, who is known for his unbreakable relationship with President Rodrigo Duterte, sources said.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
