LTO 8 reactivates help desks for motorists under DOTC's Oplan Kalakbay: Kaluluwa 2007
Tacloban City (November 1 2007) -- Land Transportation Office Region 8 Director Raul Aguilos informed that he has reactivated the LTO Help Desks for Motorists starting October 31, 2007 in compliance to the September 28 memo of the Department of Transportation and Communication.

The memo directed attached agencies to once again implement OPLAN Kalakbay: Kaluluwa 2007 in order to assist the general riding public to ensure their safety and welfare.

Director Aguilos said that he has directed all division and section chiefs, heads of district and extension offices and all LTO personnel concerned to activate LTO Help Desks in various transport terminals in their respective areas of jurisdiction.

Further, personnel have been assigned to extend assistance to the riding public and to act on complaints reported and to recommend appropriate actions.

Director Aguilos said that for Tacloban District Office, Tacloban Extension Office and Tacloban City Licensing Center, the personnel have been assigned to man the Help Desks at the Old Tacloban City Terminal near MacDonalds, Marasbaras Terminal near Andoks and the New Tacloban City Transport Terminal at Abucay, in order to be of full help to the traveling women, men and children.

Likewise, Director Aguilos said that a Roving Team composed of LTO personnel will also be on duty on October 31, from 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon until 7:00 o'clock in the evening.

For November 1, Director Aguilos said that LTO has organized three teams and one roving team. The first team will have three groups with each group manning the helpdesks at Andoks, Macdonalds and New Bus Terminal from 7:00 o'clock in the morning up to 11:00 o'clock in the morning.

The second team man the Oplan Kaluluwa helpdesks at Andoks, Macdonalds and New Bus Terminal from 11:00 o'clock in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon.

The third team, Director Aguilos said, will man the Oplan Kaluluwa helpdesks at the three sites from 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon till 7:00 o'clock in the evening.

A Roving Team has also been formed to be on duty on November 1, Director Aguilos clarified. He said that the schedule of the personnel who will man the Oplan Kaluluwa helpdesks was made so in order to give the personnel time to be able to practice the Filipino custom of visiting the graves and paying respect to their dearly beloved who have already passed away from this earth.

The Oplan Kaluluwa personnel will record and take action on the complaints of the travelers and also to make a well documented report to the Regional Director and to the DOTC and LTO Central Offices. (PIA 8)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
