Kitabog resident arrested in buy-bust operation
IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay, Oct. 1, 2002 (PNA) -- A suspected notorious drug
pusher from barangay Kitabog in Titay was arrested over the week in a
buy-bust operation conducted by the intelligence operatives of the
Police Provincial Command under the supervision of Police
Superintendent Raul Gomez.
Police authorities here identified the suspected drug pusher as Said
Muksin, 34, married, a resident of Kitabog, Titay.
Confiscated from the possession of Muksin were some 33.9
grams of the prohibited Metaphentamine Hydrochloride locally known as
"Shabu"; the P300.00 marked money used during the buy-bust operation;
a cal. 38 revolver with four live ammos; several illegal drug
paraphernalia and two hand-grenades.
Muksin was displaying his stuff in his porch when the police
operatives
stormed his residence after a poseur buyer bought some 4.7 grams of
the illegal drugs.
Residents in the area have been complaining of the activities of
Muksin
selling and distributing shabu among the youngsters in the area.
Muksin was renting the house of a certain Cesar Dialo when he was
arrested.
His arrest came after a series of surveillance conducted at his
resident by the intelligence operatives of the Police Provincial
Command.
Muksin is presently detained at the Ipil Municipal Police Station
pending
the filing of charges for violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act of
1972 in court. (PNA)
