Cagayan de Oro City (27 June 2005) -- AMBASSADOR Donald G. Dee, special envoy for international trade negotiations was in Cagayan de Oro City recently to keynote the launching of the Business Enterprise 2005 during the 2nd general membership meeting of the
Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation Inc. (Oro Chamber).
Dee, who is also the president of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was accompanied by PCCI assistant secretary general Edwin Glindro, Propel project executive director.
During the meeting, Dee updated the Oro Chamber of
business opportunities abroad, including business trends, according to
Oro Chamber program manager Lordile Enjambre.
Oro Chamber’s move of bringing in the trade envoy for the
business discussion was intended to encourage more
investments in the city and the region, improving the prospects of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s 10-point agenda to also generate more jobs.
Dee was for former director of the Export and Industry Bank and Manila Exposition Complex Inc. and served as president of the Yarn Ventures Resources Inc. and the Redson Textile Manufacturing Corp. (PIA-10)
