I don't want to sound irreligious, but I agree with Ms. Hofelina. In the context of the issue in this thread, unsa man intawoy kalambigitan sa pangadje ug sa quality time?
You and Manay Tess have a point,
Para nako, and from what my parents always say to us while we were growing up, "In God you must put all your trust, Anak. For HE will provide."
Sure, we had hard time growing up settling in the 'states, my parents working hard hours to provide for 4 children and paying for 2 kids to got an expensive college (both my sister and I attended Allegheny College in PA, USA). And the same time my 2 younger brothers attend private catholic schools.
Though my parents worked hard hours, they were always able to manage time with us--and very big man sila sa power of prayers. We always do Novena to the Blessed Santo Nino, at least once a month. Together as a family.
And, by Grace of God, naka human man ko sa college, ug ahong igsoon baji. Kami duha medical students now, and my younger brothers doing well in their studies pajud.
Because we are reminded by our parents (our beloved Mother and Beloved Father) to always, always, REST AND TRUST IN GOD.
God will always provide. In HIS own way. Just got to have trust in HIM. and in HIM alone.
AMEN!
