Why do so many Mexicans work for Taco Bell and El Pollo Loco?

Why do so many Mexicans work for Taco Bell and El Pollo Loco? Don't they know they only add a false credence to the belief that this is Mexican cuisine? The bastardizing of the truly great and diverse food of Mexico by the money-hungry corporations of the United States, I feel, contributes to the overall misconception about the diversity and culture of the Mexican people. = Gustavo Arellano

Ang amoang Taco Bell diri mga puti mga empleyado. Anyway ug mo adto ka sa south ug west dapit nga empleyado didto bisan asa mga mexicans bisan pa man sa mga Italian ug French restaurants.

Pero balik ta sa Taco Bell ug Pollo Locco, mas ganahan ko mo kaon anang mga restaurana when the cooks are mexican kay ang lami authentic kaajo.

Same as a Chinese restaurant nga run by White people wa jud nay lami! so ug mo eat sad ko Chinese adto sad ko sa China town nga medyo hugaw (as profiled) kay authentic sad kaajo ang lami...

ANA  ra gud na!

...could be that a Family - mafia kind of a business.  Here in Europe, China restaurants employees are 100% Chinese which are mostly illegally employed too.

By the way, Mexican food looks delicious but not my taste..too fatty food. Makabutod sa tijan.

Ha ha ha ha ha! It sort of how I feel about Filipino resturant owners trying to immatate Western cooking from the states in the Philippines!

Even many burger chains here taste like soy meat and not real 100% lean ground beef.

Nobody is perfect right.

I caanot say that about all Chinese places in states I have found some to be very tastey and very authentic.

I find some Chinese places to eat in the Philippines also not very good so I guess it is to each and every persons taste and likings not just in states but everywhere else as well.

Sme ethnic foods brought to states are made to cater to the majority taste of what people like. In America we have all types of races that consist in making it the place that it is. American accept new ideals from outsiders.

Look at how we attend fairs we have many choices on how we want our burger cooked. Grilled on a gas top grill, bar b qued or even steamed it is up to the choice of the people if they want to eat there or not and what they want to eat as well.

You experience some places will not allow but only one type of vendor for one type of food it is not fun when there is no choice.
