It was in the news last night that Philippines has an oversupply of nurses at present there are about 100T Pilipino nurses that are unemployed. This coming November about 90T will take the board exam the biggest number of examinees so far.

As naman intawon nato ni pa trabahuon sila?

Hospitals are now collecting fees just for a nurse's training. PGH or Philipppine General Hospital a government owned facility is even collecting 7T to 8.5T for a six month nursing training. And in hospitals there are long lines to take the training!

This is all happen when a parent will spend around 2M for a nursing course. How shall they recoup their educational investment?

Kung naa lng unta sa Canada nga while naa lang sa Pinas mag exam lng nang Canadian exam then automatic na nurse sa Canada inig abot.

Angie, my wife an engineer studed nursing and is a licensed now. senewerete naka trabajo as a teacher sa St. Augustine Sch of Nursing ubang classmate nya wa pa gyuy tawoy trabajo.

Shes planning to take the NCLEX here in manila this december or January mga PHP14T ang gasto. For Canadian license pila kahay magasto?

Try to search registered nursing of british columbia. Dri sa Canada every province ka lain-lain sila og requirements. immigrant ka muna.

For sure to qualify: you need a hospital experience for the last 5 years, pass the english exam, then you may qualify to take the nursing exam here in B.C. kung wla experience, mag refresher, they called it here, reentry.

Ya tinuod ka Calle, uban mga nurses pod mag nanny, stepping stone nila. then if ma immigrant na saka na mag school then exam.

Og nurse na sa US or Canada, pwede mag business og mga nursing homes.

ok ra siguro na pero kinahanglan ready ka bay emotionally kay pait pud malajo tas atong mga minahal sa kinabuhi.. tan-awa diri sa tb nay gipost nay pinoy nga nangligis sa riyadh.. lisud au mugawas kung nay emotional baggage..
