MNTC or Manila North Tollways Corp.'s new owner is now MPIC or Metro Pacific Investments Corp. they bought the co. for 12.2B from The Lopez Grp of Companies. The new chairman is now Mr. Manny Pangilinan born from a poor family but rose from the ranks thru hardwork inteligence and honesty. MPIC plans to connect south and north luzon expressways and we hope the construction could be started 5yrs from now. The private sector now in our country is agrresive in funding infrastructure projects thru Build Operate Transfer (BOT) coz our corrupt goverment cannot sustain the need of good and high quality roadway infrastructure.
