o really? ive never tried persian kebab before, 'te. I'll have to try it someday.

Any belly dancers for entertainment? hahaha

j/k

hahahhaha I saw the belly dancers but not in that same resto.  You know Dong, before they serve the main dish, they give you a basket of appetizer of herbs like mint, cilantro, basil, and some red radish and onions with goat cheese and their famous flat bread.  Oh, they make their flat bread in a corner where we can see them.

aguy! Thats the the way they served it in Ukraine, 'te

The prepared a plate filled with basil, black pepper, spices and filled with olive oil.
They served us freshly cooked peppered wheat bread, cooked in their bricked ovens.
We ate inside large tents and sat on tatar rugs.
The lab kebabs suited our view of the Crimean coast.

Pero they say the best kebabs are found either in Greece or Turkey kono. Gusto ko mo try adto someday.

Its a top dish in Eastern Europe-South Asia-Middle East

OMG, it is the best! At first i was hesitant on drinking it, but I did try it and its so good. Its not deathly sweet, but you it does have a natural sweetness to it, the consistency of lamb milk is very thick, it naturally has a aromatic smell to it.

Its perfect whenever eating spicy dishes, lol.

No wonder why Ukrainians and Russians are so darn tall and big boned. They drink this kind of milk. lol

I do like chicken curry, Dong!  I like to use curry powder.  I have this simple chicken recipe that uses flattened chicken breast marinated with lots of garlic and curry powder and lemon juice with the zest.  Just warm a little olive oil in the skillet, pan fry the marinated chicken without putting the marinade.  Once brown on both sides, add the marinade, stir until cooked and add salt and pepper to taste.   eat with chapati or just rice and that's good!

haha lami! tongue enticing jud.

My friend Awtar helped me cook Rajasthani-style chicken tikka masala before, ang style kai different sa bihari or southern indian chicken curry kai dili kaayo spicy ang Rajasthani style chicken tikka masala.

They do use alot of white plain yogurt, and orange curry. Perting lami kaayo, the style he uses is only yogurt; but when I cook it I add a can or two of coconut milk with the yogurt so it puts a balance. He likes to add sugar, but I like to ad a dash of salt and black pepper.

I serve my chicken tikka masala with white rice, pero Awtar eats his with nan (flat bread). Lami baya ilang style, kai very intricate.

Curry is good with such garnisheses as raisins, sourcream with mixxed in chives, or if you do not want raisins try different types of spicey to tangy and sweet chutney sauces to flavor it up with.

That sounds good, Dong!  I think I go with in eating chicken tikka masala with rice and not with flat bread.  More rice please because I still have some sauce left! hahahaha

Bem, you can also use sour cream in lieu of coconut milk or yogurt when you make chicken curry.  It's so good too though not as rich if you use coconut milk.  But I like the taste of it too.  Or, you can make a curried sour cream dip. yum too!

More on the Indian and Arab Restaurants.  Mexicans and Italians do not use curry powder but of course we can do cross-culture food, di ba?  But yes, try the Indian and Arab restaurants.

Curry can be found in restuarants that specailize in foods from India and can also be found in most authentic chinese restuarants.

I know Thailand has a yummy spicey saucey flare to it my favorite foods in Thailand are Chicken Panang and Thai beef salad.
My Thailandic appetizer are fresh springrlls in peanut sauce!

Curry is alsomainly a West indies Dish.

haha, the smell is very powerful at first, but you get used to it.

There is a little indian restaurant close to campus and they make really good chicken tikka, and masala. Ive befriended the local chef, he taught me basic Hindi in that I say 'Namaste' to him whenever I stop over, and he replies with, "Kumusta pare" (i taught him that, lol).

Indians, specially sri lankans are very good people. Hard working, and their food reflects their character. spicy and strong ;)
