Sad Facts About Banking/Financial Institutions in America
« on: August 22, 2009, 05:56:14 PM »
“Bank of America spent $40,000,000 dollars on airplanes last year. We spent $40,000 to develop an iPhone application so you can check your balance from anywhere.”  (Hmm, the iPhone app should cost like $2.99.)

“Goldman Sachs just paid out 16 billion dollars in bonuses to their employees. If we had an extra 16 billion dollars lying around, we’d put it in the bank for a rainy day. (If Goldman had never paid out bonuses they never would have needed government intervention.)” - Source

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

Profligate financial institutions brought us the current doom. Banks and credit companies made debt--mortage and consumer credit--appear like it's the way to live the dream.

When Lehman Brothers collapsed, GM, Ford and the rest of the industrial and commercial sectors suddenly hobbled like dominoes.

Obama may have buoyed up the spirit and contained the sense of panic for a while, but I think he's running out of time to deliver the promises.

Some big banks in Germany are also victims of that Lehman Brothers financial dilemma.  Everything which are  good  and other art of ruin comes from the States.
