@Nikon_D300

Im trying to learn how to take good pictures.. I just got my first DSLR cam.. with a 75-300mm lens and a .45x wide angle lens with macro..

any tips or perhaps a site with tutorials..

unsaon pag set ug unsay saktong  ISO, AF, ug uban pa.. dba dghan nag settings naa sa cam...

yohoo jez! sige practice na take ug pics aron daghan nata dire.

tip: read your manual everyday hangtod ma memorize nimo ug unsaon pag operate sa imo cam. mura daw imo ipa absorb sa imo system aron kung mag take naka ug pics, kabalo naka unsa ang gamiton na settings. unya matod pa sa atong ate ug kuya nga PRO dire, practice and improve your skills. and one more thing, shoot from the heart ingon si chicogon.  ;) :D

I was curious at the small boats I have to lean near the monitor, the gangway, or small path was not of importance to me, the objects behind was more interesting, my opinion.

I like to take pictures of persons, especially in their unguarded moments.

Manay, I followed the leading lines rule in which the bricked bridge leads to the the subject, the boat.. I just need to improve the contrast and the placement. Hopefully, the sky gives the image a dramatic impact. I think.  :-\

This is a Freudian term that we are mostly motivated to be sexually gratified. Objects, insinuations and hints in this direction are the guidelines to make  advertisements eye-catching.

Wikipedia:
Sigmund Freud popularized the term and defined libido as the instinct energy or force, contained in what Freud called the id, the largely unconscious structure of the psyche. Freud pointed out that these libidinal drives can conflict with the conventions of civilized behavior, represented in the psyche by the superego. It is this need to conform to society and control the libido that leads to tension and disturbance in the individual, prompting the use of ego defenses to dissipate the psychic energy of these unmet and mostly unconscious needs into other forms. Excessive use of ego defenses results in neurosis. A primary goal of psychoanalysis is to bring the drives of the id into consciousness, allowing them to be met directly and thus reducing the patient's reliance on ego defenses.[1]

Freud believed that humans were driven by two instinctive drives, libidinal energy/Eros and the death instinct/Thanatos. Freud's description of Eros/Libido included all creative, life-producing instincts. The Death Instinct represented an instinctive drive to return to a state of calm, or non-existence.

heheh..i can give you tons of site and links..pero I think the first thing you need to do before you hop on to the net is basaha sa imo Manual. Kay you need to be familiar with your equipment and how to the settings work.

Kay mostly mga sites presume na kamao na ka mo set sa imo cam. Then they'll teach you the techniques.

.45x wide angle lens with macro <- hmm, i think you mean 45 degrees wide...Not sure pero I presume its an 18-70mm lens?

Just a guide that you need to know first before doing a shoot.
1. How to turn on your cam. (to be honest there are first timers with DSLR don't know how to turn on their camera).
2. How to mount a lens.
3. Be familiar menu settings.
4. How to set shooting modes
5. How to set ISO
6. How to set metering modes
7. How to set Focus modes

Once you have been familiar with the settings its easier for you to understand the techniques on most sites.

Cheers and happy shooting.. :D

the 45x wide lens.. mao man na nka tatak gud sa lens.. its not a 18-70mm lens.. its a separate lens...wla ko nipalit ana nga lens.. ni ambak ko sa 75-300mm lens.. SAL75300..

Hi Nikon_D300,

Sakto ka.  Murag dapat zoom-out ko para ma exposed gamay ang langit proportion sa subject (ang kahoy).  Sige balikan nako to nga kahoy ug akong kuha-an ug balik.  E post ug pakumentohan dayon nako ug balik.  :)

On pix # 3.  That billboard infront of Jesus.   The caption "Advertise and be seen" -> I find it weird .  Anyway that's the way I see it.

You have a great thread here.  Thanks for moderating.

Regards,

Bedo

nice pix every1.

i lyk pic1 kay ang focus nya ang legs man so i think di na necessary i-apil pa ang langit. timing pud itom ang tunga sa legs o basi gidungagan pa nag black color  ;D

pic2 nice details, mahal ra ba ng callaway golf balls.

pic3 normal lng na ana ang billboard ky wa pa man nag advertise. ngita pa cla sponsor to rent that space.

good job y'all  ;D
