lawoma sad nang diabolic Glace oi! hahahha

bitaw noh? murag kuwang nalang sungay?

nindot bitaw, lisud baja mag kuha ing ana agi sa lights ug asa ibutang!

This was taken during the collaboration shoot of Alex. Two soft boxes placed behind 45 degress on each side of the subject.

Dli man lisod, basta kabalo lang ka sa behavior sa lights onto a subject

Went to a birthday  party of a fellow filipino family. They have a trampoline and I asked these sisters to jump for me while I take some snaps.

Mga high tech man neng inyong camera uy!  Kining ako sony cybershot (8 megapix) pa tawon.  ;D
Please evaluate my amateur skills on photography.  Focal point, rule of two thirds, balance, etc.

A tree along  hole #6 fairway.  Murag legs ba sa babae?  ;D
Theme:  "In between your legs"     ;D

Taken last year.  A callaway ball sitting at the fringe on hole #3 - a par 3.
Theme:  "Ang bola sa golf"

May 2008 in Quiapo.
Theme:  "Be seen be known (by Jesus)"     :)

@BedoAdoSalada dli man mo matter what camera you have its a matter of on how you take your image. I believe  the main purpose of this thread is to share knowledge and appreciate images taken by the members in this forum. This is also a chance to improve your photography skills.

Amateur skills on photography - has knowledge about composition, exposure and color range.

Rules of thirds falls into composition :D

Here's my take on your images. :D

Great take for my opinion. Pero murag tight lang sya sa akong taste. I would prefer a much wider shot with more sky. :D

Great perspective!!!

Under exposed unya i don't see any point of interest within the scence.

Different Photographers have different point of view. The comments that I made are my personal preference only. D

TFS ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Nikon_D300,

Sakto ka.  Murag dapat zoom-out ko para ma exposed gamay ang langit proportion sa subject (ang kahoy).  Sige balikan nako to nga kahoy ug akong kuha-an ug balik.  E post ug pakumentohan dayon nako ug balik.  :)

On pix # 3.  That billboard infront of Jesus.   The caption "Advertise and be seen" -> I find it weird .  Anyway that's the way I see it.

You have a great thread here.  Thanks for moderating.

Regards,

Bedo

That makes a picture a piece of art, because it depends on the person´s perception how it is registered in his brain. For example the picture of Glace (Cliff), the second one, I slowy scroll and I thought it is a talangka shell, but seeing the whole picture comes the whole view of a cliff.
You are making all  wonderful pictures.

Jer, what can you say?

Shooting abstracts are not my cup of tea..pero the way I see it just a plane bird house. Tungod kay in my opinion your filling the frame with a bird house only.

Tip: When you want your images to be interesting try incorporate other elements i.e. animals, sky, water or may be a great background.  It actually helps  complement the main subject for a more strong image.

For this example the main subject is the diver and the elements that complements the subject  are the crystal clear sea and the great horizon. So this makes the whole image very strong and very interesting...

heheh...."taking an image" is different from "making an image"..

Thanks for sharing Ginger and keep on shooting heheheh.... :D

You are right, Jer. It's a boring image. I wasn't lucky to capture the bird inside.

Thanks for the tip. Will keep trying. (ayaw kapoul ug tudlo ha?) ;)

Don't ever say that! That shot is beautiful... because it was taken by an artist who saw beauty in it. Yes, you may not be that lucky to catch a bird looking out the forest or the colorful meadow outside or hovering around its nest, but don't ever fail to see that in your artistic viewfinder that's embedded in your person and imagination.

The moment you stopped being an artist, that's when you begin to see plain images all around you. Like life, beauty is the same way: you breathe it in and you breathe it out.

I presume you are all artists in your own rights when something interests you in photography. It doesn't matter whether you have a name-tail or certificate that says you have a formal lesson in photography or not (I have one in the US since 1987 but I don't even remember where I put it. At one time it was framed) but I never cease to see beauty all around me whether I'm doing informal photoshoot, taking videos of just anything, strolling around in a park, writing a song or a poem or simply humming favorite melodies.

As photography enthusiasts you are all artists and stay that way: keep on clicking to your heart's desire. Wa bitaw limit memory rong panahona, as you always say here at TB!

heheh..i can give you tons of site and links..pero I think the first thing you need to do before you hop on to the net is basaha sa imo Manual. Kay you need to be familiar with your equipment and how to the settings work.

Kay mostly mga sites presume na kamao na ka mo set sa imo cam. Then they'll teach you the techniques.

.45x wide angle lens with macro <- hmm, i think you mean 45 degrees wide...Not sure pero I presume its an 18-70mm lens?

Just a guide that you need to know first before doing a shoot.
1. How to turn on your cam. (to be honest there are first timers with DSLR don't know how to turn on their camera).
2. How to mount a lens.
3. Be familiar menu settings.
4. How to set shooting modes
5. How to set ISO
6. How to set metering modes
7. How to set Focus modes

Once you have been familiar with the settings its easier for you to understand the techniques on most sites.

Cheers and happy shooting.. :D
