These Revolutionistas took these uniforms either from dead Spanish soldiers killed in battle or raided it from military warehouses.

If one knows his or her military history of the given time period (late Victorian), one will realize that the helmet worn by the Filipino officer is that of the Spanish design. The common infantry soldier is wearing a miniature sombrero, of typical Spanish imprint. The rifles being used here are Spanish Mausers.
