It has been a hot topic in the media lately about obstruction of justice related to the death of Ted Failon Etong's wife. How can an individual be charged with obstruction of justice? How can Failon's maid/driver be charged if they simply were not aware of the fact that by cleaning the bathroom and the car from what the police called "evidence", they were charged with obstruction of justice.
Second, when can an individual avail of the services from PAO (Public Attorney's Office). The honorable justice secretary said Ted Failon is not an indigent and therefore he is not qualified. Why? Is there a criteria (status, financial, etc) for their services? Ted asked help from Atty. Acosta (PAO) and I understand the latter responded accordingly.
