Is philippines safe for an european female?

Hi I am wondering if would be safe to my girlfriend to visit Philippines with me.

I did not feel specially unsafe anywhere I have been, except a little bit in Cebu as plenty of people harassed me on the streets all the time.

I did not see any female tourist in my 2 travels there and mostly all I saw were old men. This means is not safe for my gf to go there with me? She wants me to tour her there and I told her that maybe I can go for a last time to Philippines, just to go around the country with her, but I am worried.

She does not speak english so she would depend on me 100% at any time?

What does all of you think about this? Is a good idea or an awful idea?  ::)  ;D

Ay caramba, if you´re in Bohol, I think there should never be any problem. This place is well visited by European foreigners regardless of gender.

Yeah I know I was in bohol already and was great and relaxed. I was all around the island and not found any trouble. Just felt unconfortable once as in a town when the mayor asked somebody to pick me up to his office to meet me, then toured me around the town and to his restaurant and I had dozens of people staring lol

I get nervous when people looks at me hehehehe.

But well that is not something that worries me as is not a safety matter, is just a personal behaviour of myself as I am too shy in those situations  ;)

It´s just I am worried for her as she cannot be alone never cause of the language problem. hehehe

I do not know, I am responsible of her safety there and I am maybe worrying too much  hahahaha :)

My idea is staying first in Makati and rest of Metro Manila, then tagaytay, boracay, palawan, cebu and bohol. I have no problem in Metro Manila, Cebu or Bohol as I have stayed many days and I know where to move around but never been in tagaytay, boracay or palawan so would be new for both of us.

Does she really look great? I would say she should refrain from bare-breasted sun bathing and wearing skimpy bikini. This is where the trouble begins.
Bolanons are not blind, white skinned ladies are wonderful to look at!

Yeah she is beautiful that is why I am worried lol.

I told her to wear more discrete there but I do not know if she will listen to me hahahaha

What should she wear in beaches? and as well during night time for not get too much attention than necessary? hahahaha

As well I understood I must not permit her to do topless in public right?

Anyway I am not worry of people looking at her, is more people that want more that looking :D

everytime I go phil. with my dutch wife and some of her friends they never got any problems even if they go an excursion somewhere in the islands without me...i always stay at home in bohol drinking tuba... i always let them going away to  conquer phils...

hi!  if everybody gazing at you, feel proud coz we Pinoys love foreigners especially we are all attracted  of your light colors.
you have nothing to worry, our good German 31 yr old  friend spent 3 weeks vacation here Bohol, Boracay, Cebu and Nothern Luzon with his two girlfriends and they were safe and sound touring alone (rented a car and drove by themselves around). am sure that your gf will love and enjoy her stay there with you!
