Hi guys, I am a student in Spain who just completed his
cursos first certificate Madrid to certify that I can use the English language on a strong enough level to work in a business, it's great because a lot of multi-national companies seem to look for people with such qualifications to help them work on
proyectos multilingues for their business. I still find some work very hard, and want to perfect my English through more study, but it's going very very well I think. I may have to put it on hold because the business that employs me now has offered to sponsor me to do a
master direccion de calidad, isn't that great?! I'm really excited, I think they're in real need of multilingual students with strong business skills these days, don't you? Though I think maybe this sort of sponsorship for education and training is dying out a little, I must be very lucky. Has anyone noticed kind of a decline in sponsorships and apprenticeships when it comes to training and education, or is it just me? I think Germany values education very highly but I don't know about England or Spain.
Rosamia,
I think it is great to know that you are interested in the Philippines, as a student of Spain. I have made many acquaintances in college with many Spaniards who attended my college. And one thing that I notice about the Spaniard is his love of different cultures and mastery of different languages. The Spaniard knows not only his native Language, but English, as well as French and even German.
I was honored to befriend my friends Carlos and Nicoletta in college. As I had a natural and historical fascination with Spanish history as I was a Molecular Biology and History Double Major in college. I completed 2 Historical Thesis papers, one was a case study of Philippine Nationalistic Evolution and the second was a comparative of the Imperial Administration of Philipp II to that of the latter post-Revolutionary Monarchies. I specialized in Spanish Imperial History in my history classes, primarily in Latin American History and Colonial History.
If, ever, you would like to discuss with me in here, I would deign to discuss. It is a passionate personal interest of mine.
Surely,
Lorenzo
