Admin Gingah, I am bewildered why you have to padlock a thread (ICM Raffle Hysteria) nga wala man untay nagsinumbagay didto. It was just a discussion of what should have been done. Or the appropriate approach.

In your PM you told me that someone already told Renegade to stop using all caps before.

My point here ( And I will not move an inch for this) is that I only wished and hoped it was sent via PM since he was already very angry at that moment.

Why make a big deal out of it? Take note I was only agreeing to what other members are asking for.`
Please, I am not questioning your authority in this forum being the CEO, I am merely asking.

So why padlock the thread? why not allow other members to have their say about this matter too?

That was a question, not a demand.

I was here long before you were a member and I have witnessed many sad and happy moments of TB where other members said goodbyes for reasons they only know.

Kiamoy, FYI, I did not read the previous postings of Renegade. I trusted the admins words when she said that he had already violated the rules many times. That is why I wrote: whats the point of having rules if it has no power to punish the violators??

For all you know, I am NOT against the rules that admins will remind the members about the rules in the public. I have seen that many times in the past , that the admins reminded members about the rules in public and I didn not say a word.
Not only reminded but also modified others postings.

I only commented this time and agreed with glacier asking because (PLs take note) this time was not the appropriate moment to remind him for that since he was already boiling in anger.
Pls. try to understand my point here because I hate repeating my words. Ok?

Yes, members can be reminded in public if admins want it, but must be prepared to take the consequences.

I already explained why.

Renegade clearly has moved on. We are wasting our time with this matter. But I am enjoying the "punching" sound of my keyboard anyway. Then fine, I will enjoy this thread.

Who in the first place would've thought that Renegade cannot follow rules and is capable of the same violation?

So if you have rules and you want others to abide that said rules and if the person still doesnt listen are you not doing anything to stop it? That was a question, not a demand.

Do you really think if Renegade was immediately banned, people will not react? And is banning Renegade a better solution than what Gingah simply did?

Really, senority has nothing to do on being a member in a forum. This part is not for you. All I'm saying is that, I hope it won't result to goodbyes again (as what I lamented on my thread Sensitivity). Or how about usage of multiple usernames as a dummy account just so the faux pas on the other username will be hidden.

Taken that one really needs to post their goodbyes on a thread, well I guess, I am not a big fan of it. My views are far too cruel, cantankerous and insensitive to be posted here.

Funny,. I guess if kuya Mike and ate Graz were able to post there, and then it was locked, then I guess the title would've included 4 names.. `me thinks.

When I said I was a meber here long before you, it was to tell you that I know who were the sensitives in this forum and if they have said goodbyes they have reasons and we have to respect them.

dear kiamoy, the only people who know who I am in this forum are the admins and unless the admins break their professional secrecy and tell you, you have no idea who I am.

you see, there are no rules in this forum who obliged a member to reveal his/her real identity in the forum. As long as this member is behaving, he/she have the right to keep his/her privacy.

The admins are only obliged to expose the members real identity if the said member have committed a huge crime in this forum.

and take note the only thing I did to deserve this, was because I sympathized with renegade and glacier.
