A Profound Lesson On Living A Trackless Life While Standing At The Source Of The River Nile

It was a privilege to stand at the source of the River Nile as it flows north from Lake Victoria. Although the terrain has been cleared, since Speke and his companions explored around 1859, it is not difficult to imagine the arduous conditions these men faced. There is an account of explorers hacking their way through the jungle in the heat and humidity of Uganda. A white man, lost in this trackless jungle, asked a native if he could show him the way. The team trudged on through the dense forest and thick undergrowth, apparently getting nowhere, and the white man, doubting the abilities of his native guide, asked, "Is this really the way?" The answer came. "There is no way. I am the way."

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
