To what extent do you believe Violence to be a part of Culture? For instance, can we say that a culture is violent? OR is Violence some sort of extraordinary thing, outside of Culture?
This is an argument that has formed within anthropology and History, where some believe that Violence is harbored within a specific culture. Empiricist Historians would, perhaps, suggest that German culture in certain periods was filled with violence. Others believe that this is a misconception and that there is no connection between culture and violence, they are mutually exclusive.
What is your view on the matter?
