We know that the United States is currently the world's only Hyper Power.
The United States, economically, generates a massive economic machine of over 13 Trillion Dollars a year. The United States Military is the most high tech and advanced military force in the world. With a fleet of 18 super air craft carriers, squadrons of destroyers, cruisers, submarines (nuclear and conventional) and over a Million Men and women in its Armed Forces that spans throughout the Globe.
The United States, remains, the only nation to have never lost a war in its history. And the American People, are one of the most vehemently nationalistic people in the world.
Where the saying of, 'America IS Number 1' and 'Only First Place; 2nd Place doesn't cut it' permeate in the minds of the American Masses.
