Thailand's parliament postponed an important session on Monday after nearly 10,000 protesters surrounded the compound in their latest efforts to unseat the currently elected administration. The People's Alliance for Democracy called for the march after a grenade killed one activist and injured 23 during protests last week.

At least 10,000 anti-government protesters from the People's Alliance for Democracy gather outside Thailand's parliament in Bangkok November 24, 2008. The protesters blocked access to the parliament compound, preventing lawmakers from entering to debate legislation for a regional summit in Thailand next month.
