 ;DMabuhay Expats Coming to Bohol to visit or those foreigners who want to make Bohol your
  home away from home.

An association for foreigners is being started in Bohol. This group will be able to help those foreigners who are planning to visit Bohol or come here and make Bohol they're new home away from home.

The association will be able to help foreigners who are looking for advice on services of all types, such as reasonably priced places to stay over night while they are here.

The association members will be registering and providing an emergency contact list for outside the country, medical history including blood type, personal description and a couple of other forms will be filled outr by expats joing the group.

The ideal of the group will be to form a unity amongst foreign member's and they're Filipina partners.
The group will be able to discuss how to cope properly with issues here that are difficult and smoothen them out, give suggestions on what are theproper legal steps in taking on legal matters and who are the outstanding peoples choices for attorneys here who can help them for what ever specific legal issue needed to be handled.

The association plans on having an office in the future to work out of so that foreigners in Bohol can visit the office and talk with other expats on what are the latest happenings here and and be able to sit down and talk amongst others and give advices on how to conduct yourself properly with persons here.

That our association will be open to foreign single men and women and open to couples of either Filipina spouse together with expat, and also expats women who are marreid with expats from here as well.

There will be two guest speaker's who will speak with the expats the first guest speaker will be Atty.Lim who is owner and publisher of The bohol Standard, who will give a talk on foreigners legal rights and the second guest speaker will be Philippine Journalist Kit Bagaipo who writes for both the national newspaper and the local media. Bagaipo plans to give a speech on how the media can help foreigners.

Many other topics will be dicussed at the meeting this coming Monday April 27, 2009 at Brew Points coffee shop or upstairs function room above Soledad Suites at 5 PM.
