an Italian friend (70) is looking for Filipina wife
« on: December 10, 2010, 09:29:39 PM »
During my trip to Portugal, I was spoken by an italian couple who said that he has a brother in Italy and wishes to have a Filipina wife. He is a pensionado and lives in his own flat. He doesn´t speak english so he wishes that the lady be willing to learn the language. It took me sometime to decide if he is serious, I think he means it really.
If anyone has some interest please pm me.

I wish him luck.
I would like to share  my personal experience that turned disaster about helping  an aged man who wants a wife.
A 63 year old, white American man, an Air Force veteran who was my neighbor back then  unknowingly was watching me as I mind
my own business and daily chores in and out of my house.
One day, he approached me and said that he'd been watching me and asked me if I could help him find a Filipina
 woman to be his wife.
At first I was hesitant, but after a while I did help him by introducing a woman  who was in the Philippines that I know of  so
they  talk over the phone then he went to meet her and  eventually got married, she was 46 years old by then.
He petitioned his new  wife to come here in the U.S. and I even help him with some paper works, while waiting for her
he bought a new house and a new car for his coming wife. He had been sending money to her as well.
While waiting for her, he fell ill and was admitted in the hospital, so he decided to sell the house and  planned to buy a house close to
where I live just in case he will pass away and I can be there nearby  for his wife.
A buyer  made an offer for the property so the lawyer contacted the wife that some papers will be fax to her to sign for the
  sale of the house.
The lawyer notified me that  this old man's wife e-mailed him stating,
" I will not sign the papers unless you send me 50% of the proceeds of the sale" and she gave her
bank account in the Philippines where the money will be send.
I was horrified, shocked, embarrassed..and the old man in hospital  was so furious and said,
" I am sick, now she wants a divorce?"
Even though  the petition was  already approved, she still refused to come here to take care the old man in the hospital
until he passed away, then she came and find out that the cousin  who was appointed as the Power of Attorney
had the death certificate listing  the deceased as divorced, she was not noted as the wife.
To make matter worst, she turned against me and blame me as if I  should have done something  so she can take the properties
      to herself as a wife.
The old man owned 2 businesses, stocks, money in the bank,etc..sufficient for his wife to live without the headache of day to day
financial needs but she made a mess.
I find out that some Pinays are acting now as her advisers and she has nothing to do with me.
She lives now in another state and  giving me a cold shoulder in which I was hurt at first but I learned a lesson
the hard way; never would I make a mistake of lending a hand again.

Stateville , sorry to hear  that. I was also hesitant kay basin masipyat ako ang buthan. Ang akong plano kon adunay jud interesado sila ang magsabot , ako igo lang mag-ila ila. Ang mga anak sa paryente kay maantigo man mag english, gawas pa daghang pod mga Pinoys sa Italia.
Igo lang ko maghulat , kay para nako kon kini usa ka paagi nga 2 persons will meet and like each other and starts a new life, then its worth the try.
