I believe Malaysia, and Indonesia uses these fighters in their air force. I know that Malaysia and Singapore both have the F/A-18 Superhornett as well as the F-16 C/ADF fighters. The Sukhoi Su-30 is excellent in offensive capability--and great for air-to-ground targets, its a tactical offensive fighter that relies primarily on speed and firepower. A great tactic, IMO. The F-18 and the F-16s are built to address the Sukhoi's weakness--as the F-classes are agile, quicker and carry formidable defense and offensive capabilities--which have given American fighters a slighter edge over Russian counterparts.
This was one reason why the F-5 Tiger I/II outperforms the famous Russian Mig-21 fighter.
I do admit that a combination of Sukhoi Su-30 Mkk and F-16s as well as F-18s and attack craft such as the Bronco and the Harrier would be perfect in creating an 'All-around air force': thereby addressing not only offensive capabilities, but defensive and tactical abilities.
Definately something the PAF should model after.

In my oppinion, the best air fighters Russia has made would have to be the formidable Su-27 Flanker and the Mig-29. These fighters are currently used by the PLAA (People's Liberation Army Airforce), the Indian Air Force, the Vietnamese Air Force, North Korean Air Force, and Indonesian Air force--and have performed well against the F-16, F-15 in air games. Beautiful birds, IMO

Su-27 Flanker. Beautiful...

Mig-29 Fulcrum. This is Russia's answer to America's F-16 standard fighter.
