Thailand deports four Russians placed on int'l wanted list

BANGKOK -- Thai authorities on Friday have deported four Russians who were placed on the international wanted list by the Interpol, head of the Russian Embassy’s consular department Vladimir Sosnov told TASS.

"Eduard Malkov, Yevgeny Yukin, Kristina Mokina and Grigory Lysakov accompanied by Russian police officers have departed from Bangkok to Moscow. All of them were detained by the Thai law enforcement agencies at the request of the Russian side," he said. The Russian citizens were deported by two different flights for safety reasons.

Malkov, a native of Chelyabinsk, was sentenced to three years’ probation for smuggling super-potent substances. He pledged not to leave the city but went into hiding. Malkov was arrested in the resort city of Pattaya in early October where he worked in a baker’s shop.

Yukin was sentenced in absentia to two years in prison by the Central district court of Novosibirsk for large-scale fraud committed by an organized group.

Mokina and Lysakov are the defendants in the same criminal case overseen the Investigative Department of the Federal Security Service (FSB) in the Krasnoyarsk territory.

Mokina is accused of breach of confidence and "theft of property on a large scale and malversation." Lysakov is charged with complicity in the fraud. Last May, a court in Krasnoyark remanded both defendants into custody. They were placed on the international wanted list later in October. (PNA/TASS)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
