Carnival Cruise Ship and Royal Caribbean Collide

Some cruise ship passengers are glad to be back in Florida after their ship collided with another one off the coast of Mexico.

Passengers aboard Carnival Legend arrived at the Port of Tampa Sunday morning. Carnival officials say the incident happened on Wednesday when their cruise ship bumped into Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas, which was docked at the Cozumel, Mexico port.

Several of the passengers on both of the ships had plenty to say about what they experienced.

Kelly Blakeney was aboard Carnival Legend and says, "Next thing I know they hit each other and I was like we hit the other ship!"

Tim Fenton was aboard Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas and says, "We were in our cabin and the boat kind of rocked, we heard a noise and when I went out. Stuff was falling in our shower." -Source

I think this is the fault of the Carnival cruise as it risked the lives of thousands of people and even it did some damage to the ship of Royal cruise vacation, as it has to cancel the cruise vacations tours and had to bare the losses.

Walay sala ana ang Capitan kay ug ang barko mo paingon na ug dock sa pantalan pilot na ang magdala ana.Dugay ko nga quatermaster sa mga barko sa Royal Caribbean unya dili sayon mopadunggo ug barko nga dako pa sa island city mall..Gamay nga sipyat disgrasya gyud kay dili sayon pag pa hunong ug barko nga 100,000,00 gross tons ang gibugaton unya dako pa sa ICM..Ang mobayad ana sa losses insurance...

communication gap amongst pilots? i have seen a lot of that stuff! dili bitaw daw sajon. pero pilots have to synchronize amongst each other through "over-over"! ;D

naa lang jud nalingaw tingali on one of them. or naa ba kaha deprensha ang brake sa unsa ka barko! basi gigamitan to ug brake sa Toyota!  hehehe! ;D
