Approval of US Healthcare Reform Bill
« on: March 22, 2010, 10:50:58 PM »
Democrats have hailed the approval of legislation extending healthcare to an additional 32 million Americans as a historic advance in social justice.

The speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi said it was comparable to the establishment of Medicare and Social Security.

The bill was passed in the House on Sunday evening by just seven votes.

Republicans have vowed to continue to challenge it, saying it is too expensive and promotes big government.

Senator John McCain, the defeated presidential candidate, warned that outside the capital "the American people are very angry".

"They don't like it, and we're going to repeal this," he told ABC News.

President Barack Obama is expected to sign the bill as early as Tuesday, after which it will go to the Senate where Democrats hope it will be passed by a simple majority under budget reconciliation. - BBC

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

and what it means?
Those who are  in the work force will have to pay more taxes so
it will be distributed to the have-nots
Possible closures of rural hospitals and increase numbers of
unemployment due to less reimbursement of medical services
esp. on increase numbers of Medicaid patients
It will increase the cost for insurance companies, lead to more
   government spending and bureaucratization

Although not often touted as such by proponents of the measure,
"healthcare reform" is the final phase of the massive social welfare
legislation initiated in the United States under Franklin D. Roosevelt
in the 1930's and drastically enlarged to include civil rights laws during
Lyndon B. Johnson's presidency. With this legislation, however, the
transformation of the American constitutional republic to a welfare-warfare
   state will be nearly complete.

my husband is in business and has several people working for him but he never complained. so maybe (my thoughts)  everything will be alright. he always hope everything will be alright.

i dont always believe the "have nots"  will be deprived from medical health care that we "who have's"  had. it is about time to care.

32 million will received healthcare coverage as  mentioned, more
than half of that number are illegals who sneak through the
borders, they break the law and will be rewarded by giving them free medical care.
This will entice more illegals to come here and get more freebes; healthcare, welfare, food stamps etc.

This bill also covers abortion for those women who wants to terminate the life
in their womb. I'm not for it, taxpayers like me should not pay for somebody's
wrong doings, but the taxpayers money will be used for it, like it or not.

The middle class working Americans will have to pay more taxes, the small businesses
will see an increase in their taxes as well to meet the needed cost to shoulder those
who cannot afford to have healthcare.

Brace yourself and tightened your belt for more is coming... :(
