There is a man in Tagbilaran who is recruiting Boholano teachers for deployment in Thailand. Please tell your friends that no schools in Thailand are requiring an applicant to go through an agency. That agency in Bohol, based in Tagbilaran, is simply bogus. I just wonder why the agency (kono) got a permit. Ignorance is dangerous. Maybe the city government does not know anything about the background of that recruiter (kono). Spread this information, please. According to my friend, Mae Supremo (daughter of a Bohol judge), who is an English lecturer in Thailand, "daghan na kaayo ang nabiktima sa illegal recruitment sa Tagbilaran." Remember, anything that you don't know will cost you. Please tell your friends about this. We need to stop this.
There are no teaching jobs in Thailand offered by that agency. If you are qualified to teach, you can come to Thailand with your passport only. The Thailand Immigration will give you a tourist visa upon arrival. And you can stay in Thailand for up to 90 days with a border exit (two times in two months). Within the 90-day period, you can use this period for job hunting. You can do it by yourself. No agency. No recruitment. No broker. Just yourself...
