Japan's Unemployment Rate
« on: October 02, 2007, 09:49:08 PM »
Japan's economic recovery remains on track despite figures Friday that showed a jump in the nation's jobless rate and a continued decline in consumer prices, the economy minister said.

But in some good news, the government said Japanese industrial production rebounded 3.4 percent in August after declining in July due to plant shutdowns after an earthquake hit north-central Japan, cutting supplies from a major auto parts maker.

The unemployment rate, meanwhile, worsened to 3.8 percent in August from 3.6 percent a month earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications said, the first rise since September 2006.

That was also my thought. Pero sa western japan, naa pud community nga pareha sa pilipinas, japanese nga mag segregate  ug basura tapos ibaligya igka human as their source of income. Shocking kaayo. Pero tinood.

And despite of high employment rate...they have also the highest numbers of depressive young generations which are subject committing suicide, in fact, they are considered to be on the top in this connection.  It is pity to know, that even short before pension getting jobless and lost everything and became homeless.  :(

Everywhere, economic hardship is felt.  My poor mother wouldn't even believe when I told her that I see a lot of homeless people here in Sacramento loitering with stolen shopping carts containing their possesions.  Do we have homeless people in Tagbilaran na?

they are just mentally incapacitated Grazz...

there was one homeless, nga gi interview ni Oprah...

he was given a hundred grand but he ended losing all the money and back to homelessness...

his reason?

he cant leave his homeless lifestyle...picking up cans, sleeping in the park etc...
