Japanese mobile operators on Wednesday responded calmly to a World Health Organization report that warned that electromagnetic waves emitted from wireless phones may lead to an increased risk for brain cancer.
A spokesman at leading Japanese mobile carrier NTT DoCoMo Inc. <9437> said the company does not think mobile phones have adverse affects on human health, including cancer.
