What's the name of the artist? She really has a great voice as well as vocal range. She actually soared skywards as the key changed towards the finale.

My only comment is that she could have used a little diction coaching, since she will inevitably be measured against Taylor Hicks.

Glaring lang especially sa sinugdanan when the tempo is slower and she has to enunciate the words is, was, raise, because... The correct pronunciation, at least to the global English viewers, for the s's in these words is actually z...

After Charice Pempenco, she could be the next Youtube phenomenon if these flaws are corrected.

plus, the clips of the "young achievers" suck bigtime...hahaha!

The overall concept of the video is great. Congratulations Leo.

However, on the technical and artistic side, it looks to me as if it is a storyboard. Video editing is obviously not professional and the transition between scenes are very rough and sudden. The inserted clips are simply dropped inside, untouched, unrendered and raw. To be honest, there is a long way to go.

We are not talking about video quality. There are lots of good quality videos out there, but the contents are rubbish.

This is a good start Leo, keep it up.

when we made this project, we are not thinking of other people to support us.

if you;re watching mtv (i know you do!), lips synchronization is not the issue what the message you're going to convey to your viewers.

mr. ludwig, i've in the industry for how many years and if you're producing a topnotch video you can't make it in bohol...you can have do this in manila (cebu isn't yet...)

and HOW DARE YOU MAGYAGAYAGA SA VIDEO IN WHICH YOUR SPECIAL SOMEONE IS PART OF?

as i said, there's no way you can produce topnotch production in bohol--camera, editing, etc...unless you're going to make it in manila and pay.

the audio was recorded in a local music studio in bohol which i didn't like it, too. but you would be pointless if you would tell jesat to record the song in manila...

and during editing, you can't find editing machine in bohol... even the oldest photography studio which into video editing and making finds it difficult too.

there're many factors that have affected the making of it and i'll not discuss it here.

when i produced for a travel show in living asia channel the past years, we've our works edited in manila.

the mtv honoring the young boholano achievers was done out of volunteerism. we volunteered for doing it without payment because we have the desire to pay homage to our young boholano achievers who make us proud in many things.

sorry, if the video doesn't meet your taste... naaanad man gud ko travel show and news ra akong nahibaw-an.

again, my apology for not meeting you all your standards.

thank you... however, apparently, the issue isn't that settled yet... but i'd rather not retort to the new rejoinders so as not to summon further "less than positive" stuff... stuff... and more stuff... the frequency with which i predict the exchange is going to get to a very mediocre level of conjectural thinking...

so, now... I'M APOLOGIZING for that... i'm rather guilty i did that... that was not meant as a serious offense, people... rather, it was more of an exaggerated personal opinion which was uncalled-for, to say the least... it was my fault to have used such shoddy and debauched words which were obviously apathetic of the detrimental corollaries it may arouse... which are now surfacing, i may add...

Very well said El Mundo and good for you. Some people are just good in criticizing someone else's work and sometimes it's like their defense mechanism because they can't do some things and perhaps they're jealous. I wonder how their work turns out if they do it themselves like this video.

Again, I like your video and I salute you for doing good deeds by volunteering this work to honor fellow Boholano Achievers.

Leo understands that praise and criticism come with the trade, and from his response, I think he's taking everything in stride.

Personally, I learn more from my critics than from my admirers, because the former challenge me to soar to greater heights, while the latter can only tempt me to rest on my laurels.

I am sure bonbonquest has no intention to malign Leo personally, and I think he, too, will learn to craft his words without the rough edges.

yes, i'm impulsive, Leo... and i've crossed a lot of people a lot of times with this strong personality of mine... but thankfully, i've never retained enemies... things eventually heal.. the people i've encountered are, after all, way more mature than i am... about twice, thrice or four times my age perhaps...

but my impulsiveness does not scope love... most definitely not... this one isn't just something... it's THE /thee/ REAL THING... i view it that way.. i don't know with the rest of the world... or the people who have known me in the past.. the palakero/bolero/whatever-ro Bon-Bon who's broken the hearts of many... ask Ted.. he's seen my list.. [i do keep a list of names].. but that's not me anymore...

this... this that just happened here is another character that i DIRELY need to get rid of... hehe!

Hi WBP! I think Bonbon already realized that and he apologized for it. People make mistakes for the wrong choice of words they use. The people here in TB are very forgiving so everything is settled now.

nice production! my praises to the producer and director. low-end technicalities, though. but it's still very nice! I've seen that girl sing in person. At ICM before. some Fil-Canadian summer fiasco of sorts. her vocal strength is better when she sings in person. she didn't do very well in the video. camera was too close to her face. na.obyus iyang kaanyag. nyehehew........

hahahaha!... that video really sucks... big time... the face.. the camera angle (even if Ted was the one shooting it)... Jesat's face is often pressed against the camera-- so much so that the poor audio-video synchronization is made obvious...

plus, the clips of the "young achievers" suck bigtime...hahaha!

you may say I'm "maldito" for saying this... well, I really am, but that's beside the point... i'm just being completely honest here... the fact is, it really sucks... hahahahaha!
