Good Morning America
A house cat is under quarantine after its owners called 911 to report that their pet had trapped them in the bedroom of their Florida home and “ripped†them up.
“She’s never been like this. I don’t know what happened to her,†Teresa Gregory can be heard telling the 911 dispatcher in audio of the Saturday call in which she describes the behavior of the cat, a 4-year-old Russian Blue named Kush.
Gregory, of DeLand, speculates that the cat’s fury may have been unleashed when she accidentally stepped on it in the dark.

Teresa Gregory said she and her husband had been injured by the cat, adding that the animal “tore me and my husband up.â€
“We’re ripped up, I mean ripped up, pouring blood, she ripped us up,†Gregory said of Kush’s attack. “And she’s sitting right there. There’s no way to get out ... .
“We just need her out of our house. We don’t know what to do,†she said.
The Gregorys declined to comment to ABC News.
Police who responded called animal control, which took Kush into quarantine, where she was expected to remain for 10 days. Her shots reportedly weren’t up to date.
