Never Say "I Love Your Car"

A 30-year-old man is lucky to be alive after he and his wife were assaulted by up to six occupants of a Hummer vehicle as they stood admiring it in inner-Melbourne early today.

Police said the man and his 32-year-old wife were admiring a silver-coloured Hummer - a large, US-style four-wheel drive - outside Kings car park on Flinders Lane, between Spencer and King streets, about 5.30am (AEST) when they were set upon.

The man said "I love your car" before he was attacked by up to six people, with at least one brandishing a metal bar.

"The victim was severely beaten and left unconscious," Detective Senior Constable Brett Hampson said.

He was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with sever head injuries and blood loss.

The victim's wife was also taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Ako raba i always admired people driving cars which i really like. I like Jaguar a lot, and everytime i saw that car on the road next to me i always give them "thumbs up" sign..plus "i love your car"...Akong banana dili gyud sa Jaguar kay dili kuno american, pessti gyud ning amawa ni...

ingon pa sa akong banana, hummers cost too much, has poor gas mileage, and insurance is too high.  the tires cost a fortune.  if only he's a millionaire (kuno), he would like it, but he is only an ordinary person, so he considered it as a "crap".  hehehehehhe

katawa lagi siya, taman ra tawn siya sa tan aw, huhuhuh looya pod sa akong banana oi.  mohirit pa jud aning tb ba.  apil kuno siya sa atong forum, here's his comment:

"i used to work for ford motor company, assembling a $50,000 suv (that was last 2000) that has 12 miles per gallon.  it was a piece of crap just like the hummer.  it costs too much and has less gas mileage."

Korek jud Ms willmerit, with the gas prices the way they are these day, and with inflation looming, it is not wise for middle class America to buy cars with awful gas mileage.

I wish I could trade my car with a Prius. I've heard nga 60 mpg daw na sila.  ;D

Ooo luag na mitsubishi--pero the only problem is that my suv is all-wheel drive. So its a gas guzzler. I get like 22 miles to the gallon in this thing. Its really bad. My sis drives a Ford and she gets like..almost 40+ miles to the gallon.
