Skinny Women Have Low Sex Drive! - Besides being sterile!

Sex and skinny grace do not match. Women struggle to slim a lot and fast, because they imagine they are more attractive this way, some even starve themselves to death (see the case of Brazilian model Ana Carolina Reston, reported to have weighed 88 pounds (36 kg) when she died of anorexia). But a new research reveals size zero women, paradoxically, could experience severe loss of sex drive

"Extreme dieting can disturb the hormones and affect the sex drive - which could mean bad news for the men in their lives," warned expert Dr Sarah Brewer, an expert of relationship and sex from the Amora, the London's Academy of Sex and Relationships.
The never stopping pressure to be as thin as possible, especially in modeling or acting careers, severely damages a woman's life quality, affecting her libido (sex drive), self-esteem and fertility. "It is often celebrities who are trying the hardest to remain thin so it would be unsurprising if there are many who are affected by the problem of low sex drive. Women are also often trying to get thin so they are more attractive to the opposite sex. But this will lower their sex drive and defeat the point of trying to be thin in the first place." said Brewer.
Sterility, which comes with anorexia, is a biological defense of the organism (it is known that pregnant women experiencing prolonged hunger will abort spontaneously).
"As soon as body weight plummets below a critical point, the womb shrinks, menstruation stops and your level of sexual interest, fantasy and enjoyment fall. Some women can lose interest in sex all together. These are all part of the body's self defense mechanism to prevent a pregnancy when you are physically unable to cope with the increased demands of reproduction. The good news is that sex drive and the amount of time spent on sexual day-dreaming increase again, once normal weight is restored. The link between losing weight and sexuality needs to be understood. It may make women less inclined to become so thin.", explained Brewer.
