The nostalgic amongst you may well still pine for the days when every packet of crisps contained a little packet of salt. But if you fancy a quick snack in South Korea, a slightly less pleasant surprise might be lurking inside the packet.
A government regulator in South Korea said that what appeared to be a rat's head was found in a bag of food maker Nong Shim's popular brand of shrimp cracker snacks.
Shares in Nong Shim fell on Tuesday after the announcement, which probably wasn't what you want in a the current volatile markets.
The company's spokesman said the company wasn't sure if the suspected rat's head entered into the production process in China or in South Korea.
