The Philippines' number one and most trusted newspaper in the country both online and offline has been tagged by McAfee SiteAdvisor as "spammy", meaning PDI is behaving in the web universe like a SPAM advocate. It is ironic that while PDI has gained trust and respect not only in the Philippines but also in countries abroad, it had unknowingly failed to pass McAfee's stringent test.

Here's the exact statement of McAfee, the virus-maker:

After entering our e-mail address on this site (inquirer.net), we received 6.7 e-mails per week. They were somewhat spammy.

You can read the full details in the link below:

http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/inquirer.net?ref=safe&aff_id=0

PDI has to do something to improve its McAfee ranking because having a yellow flag in McAfee SiteAdvisor would paint an ugly first impression to the international community.

McAfee is used by more than 300 million Internet surfers all over the world. The SiteAdvisor can be downloaded free at mcafee.com and after the installation it automatically integrates into your Firefox browser.

It is now absolutely necessary to have a McAfee SiteAdvisor installed in your browser. You never know you might fall onto a dangerous website that will forever ruin your life. McAfee is your guiding light.

McAfee gives a green flag to safe and secure websites, yellow to questionable sites, and red to high-risk websites.

Tubag Bohol has just earned the nod of McAfee. You can see a green flag in Tubag Bohol site if you are using Firefox.

Leo, not a literal flag. They just call it "flag."

If McAfee SiteAdvisor has not been installed in Firefox, then you cannot see it.

McAfee SiteAdvisor has to be installed first in your computer.
