Press Release: President Rodrigo Roa Duterte talked with President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin of the Russian Federation to renew the shared commitment of their respective country in enhancing its bilateral ties, last Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
The telesummit was done for the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The presidents talked about the modernization of PH defense assets and systems, improvement of market access of PH products to Russia, and the increase of volume of deliveries of Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccines to the Philippines.
