It is important that we all understand why point-by-point mutations occur. These mutations are responsible for the manifestation of diseases in that all diseases are a result of genetic degeneracy. The more we understand and allow ourselves to open our minds to new scientific knowledge, the more we are able to help ourselves and understand why things happen, biologically.
There is always a reason and an explanation for things.
