Message: My dear Fellow Alumna/Alumnus,

A group of VHS alumni met at the principal's office of our alma mater last Sunday, Nov. 23, to discuss about the possibility of holding another grand reunion. There were close to 30 alumni in that meeting among whom were Vic Bantol who also presided in behalf of Lindy Adame, President, Dr. Guido Lim, Atty. Dionisio Balite, Mary M. Dairo, Gloria Cajilog, Lilio Palac, Ben Gamalo, and other young alumni.

Anyway, the body agreed to hold the grand reunion on May 8, 9 and 10, 2009 - Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We are aware that time is short but with each and every alumna/alumnus putting in some extra effort, we are confident that this reunion will surpass the two previous ones.

We are, therefore, calling on you to help us network among all alumni in your contact list and let them know that plans are being laid for the next reunion. The body believes that the dates selected will be close enough to the fiestas of May 3 (Sta. Cruz), May 5 (Pob. Sur), 6 (Canduao), 9 (Cansibao), 15 (San Isidro) etc., etc. We know how important the fiestas are to our townmates and to come home for the homecoming is an added bonus. It is like killing two birds with one stone.

I am asked to head the committee on communication. Thus, I am taking the liberty to start the ball rolling right away as the internet is the most effective way today to get in touch. I am still awaiting the list of alumni with email addresses by batch. I thought we should task each batch to do their share in the networking process. Maybe each one of us could get in touch of your own classmates.

I will be grateful if you could put in a comment/suggestion or two that will be helpful for us to realize our goal of being able to make this grand reunion successful. Your attendance, for one, will be needed if we are going to attain success.

The group will meet again this Sunday and we will let you know what will transpire by then. Please forward email addresses of VHS alumni on your list.
