Gov. Edgar M. Chatto and Vice Gov. Concepcion O. Lim cut the ribbon to launch the TB DOTS Clinic at the Leona O. Lim Memorial Hospital in Valencia. The hospital, owned by the Vice Governor, is the second private hospital to open a TB DOTS clinic in the province, next to Ramiro Community Hospital. The Department of Health (DOH) (bottom photo) with the Provincial Health Office (PHO) also turned over equipment and medicines to the TB DOTS team of the hospital. The program is part of the Chatto-Lim administration’s efforts to prevent the spread of TB in the province. (EDCOM)
