The sunsets in Valencia are so beautiful, because at the lofty distance, as the sun is about to set, you can see the distant shores of Mindanao in the south.

Oh Valencia, my beautiful town. Is there any place comparable to you?

I agree. i have seen that beautiful sunset years ago.......

I was driving back and when I saw the coming sunset, I stopped my truck, parked it.

And with the cool southern breeze carressing my face, the smell of the ocean, the sound of trucks passing by, augmented with the smell of burning leaves that the people initiate to keep mosquitoes away, my eyes fixed itself on the clouds above, and the sun setting below.

I closed my eyes softly and took everything in. Internalized. I was in Valencia, my feet on Valencianon soil, breathing Valencianon air, and with my own eyes...seeing what seems to be my first recollection of a sunset in Valencia.

Yes, yes. Many times I sat by the edge of the waters to see the setting sun. In the distance , you can see the tip of Northern Mindanao , as the stars begin to light the sky above.

It is a magical, exquisite experience. I love my town..and miss it so very much.
