Ang problem sa ani kai wa man gud proper waste disposal sa community close sa dagat dinha sa Valencia. Ang current administration, under Mayor Lim, has to take decisive action in assessing this. I've talked to my Tito, Mr. John Palaca, who also ran for Mayor in Valencia couple of years back and he elucidated me on this current situation. Ang problema sa Valencia, as much as I don't like to step on any toes--it must be said. Corruption is a problem in Valencia. Vote buying is a problem; there are people in the barangays in Anas, Cansibao, etc that complain about the re-election of Consing Lim, however, people give in to the bribery that is clearly manifested. True there have been positive changes in Valencia, however, there are other issues to tackle, primarily proper waste pipes, and the current situation of vote buying.
To those who accept bribery in Valencia, don't complain, because you are as responsible for the act as the person propagating the act of vote buying. Don't be hypocritical.
I do agree that it is unfair to have one family in power for such a long time; I have a problem with this so called 'dynastic sytem'. Though I have respect for the Lim family in Valencia, they are friends of my family, however, I cannot say that I condone the acts of vote buying and corruption that is in place.
Secondly. This issue of mosquitoes, proper action needs to be taken to reduce mosquito nests. Dengue and other communicable diseases that rely on the mosquito as vector form can manifest on to the local human hosts. This problem should be taken care of by the Provincial government, and the DILG.
