Tanda sa Tubigon 2022 Highlights
Jean Abigail Alcantara is this year's Champion of the Sambunot sa Awit, the longest-running singing competition in Bohol. Alcantara bested 4 other contestants during the Grand Finals that took place on the 13th of May and held at the open ground fronting Tubigon Commercial Complex.
For this year's edition of the Sambunot sa Awit, the organizing team backed by the Local Government Unit of Tubigon headed by Mayor William R. Jao decided to limit participating contestants to residents of Tubigon only. Aside from the usual inclusion of contestants coming from outside the municipality of Tubigon, Sambunot sa Awit 2022 also employed another format.
Ten (10) Tubignon singers started the contest during its opening salvo from a dozens of aspiring auditionees while 1 contestant is being eliminated every week.
Completing the roster of winners, following are the list of runners-up with their respective prizes:
1st Runner-up: Alistair James Albiso - Php 15,000 and a trophy;
2nd Runner-up: Hazel Ann Macabodbod - Php 10,000 and a trophy;
3rd Runner-up: Jimson Larubes - Php 5,000 and a trophy; and
4th Runner-up: Trisha Salera - Php 3,000 and a trophy.
