THE Office of the municipal local government operations officer of Tubigon, in coordination with the municipal government, conducted its annual Gabay sa Mamamayan Action Center (GMAC) evaluation in the 34 barangays of the town on June 9-18.
The MLGOO conducted ocular inspection, on-site observation and evaluation of the barangays and GMACs, interview and discussion with barangay officials of the 34 barangays.
MLGOO Ma. Sharon Marimon-Halasan initiated this annual event, in line with DILG’s roles and functions in the LGUs.
Moreover, the evaluation has been designed to enhance the capability of the barangays in their daily operations and in the performance of their functions.
The output of the evaluation serves as guide in improving the systems adopted by the barangays in their operations and in delivering their services to the people.
Mayor Luna Piezas facilitated the funding for the conduct of the evaluation in the municipal level.
