APNA is seeking abstract proposals for both podium and poster presentations that address all levels of psychiatric-mental health nursing administration, education, practice, and research. The APNA 34th Annual Conference will deliver hundreds of evidence-based presentations to 1800+ registered and advanced practice nurses. Nurses from varied backgrounds are encouraged to share their initiatives, practice innovations, clinical expertise, and more by submitting an abstract online by March 2nd at 11:59 pm Eastern.
The conference theme celebrates Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurses: Proud Partners on the Journey to Whole Health, paying tribute to the nurse-patient relationship so integral to psychiatric-mental health nursing. APNA President Sattaria (Tari) Dilks, RN, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FAANP, says, “The partnership developed between psychiatric-mental health nurses and individuals, whether it is patients, families, communities, or other professionals, promotes positive outcomes and can be life-changing. I invite my colleagues to see this open call for abstracts as an opportunity to talk about how this partnership approach supports the whole health of our patients and communities and to demonstrate their pride by sharing their innovations and expertise.”
All abstracts will undergo peer review by the APNA Scholarly Review Committee and notifications of acceptance status will be made by April 8th. Suggested topics for abstract submissions include but are not limited to:
