This girl walked into a cat shelter ready to adopt a cat, this is the moment when she found her cat that had been lost for a year.

This Brazilian man apparently used ballistic paint reserved for missiles to paint himself green in an effort to look like the Hulk. The paint was too strong and is not coming out!

Two days after an ant dies, it gives off an odor that lets the other ants know it is dead. The ants then pick it up and carry it to a graveyard.

The odor is oleic acid. Oleic acid is emitted by the decaying corpses of a number of insects, including bees and Pogonomyrmex ants.

This is Oscar. A few years ago, Oscar was run over by a combine harvester and his back legs were damaged beyond repair. After some discussion, he was the recipient of a groundbreaking surgery in which prosthetic legs were grafted directly onto his ankle bones, called an "exoprosthesis." This first-of-its-kind operation allows Oscar to walk normally. The operation was a huge success and it's now being considered for use in human amputees.

KISSING ISLANDS IN GREENLAND

The two islands, which remind us of a couple kissing each other, are found in Greenland, where massive ice dominates and rules.

Although the world's largest island was originally named as Iceland when the first immigrants from Norway arrived there, the immigrants renamed it as Greenland to attract many from the continent.

Nana Karagianni used to be one of Greece's most beautiful journalists and a model before she was hit with the model's disease, anorexia nervosa, the fear of getting fat. The model who now work as a TV presenter is a shadow of her old self.

The large-flowered Rose 'Osiria' has a most exquisite color combination. The petals are blood-red on the inside and pure silvery-white on the outside.

Caged people of Hong Kong: The tragedy of tens of thousands living in 6ft by 2ft rabbit hutches - in a city with more Louis Vuitton shops than Paris

Hong Kong, one of the world's richest cities, is abuzz with a luxury property boom that has seen homes exchanged for record sums. But the wealth of the city has a darker side, with tens of thousands priced out of housing altogether and forced to live in the most degrading conditions. This picture by British photographer Brian Cassey capture the misery of people - some estimates put the figure as high as 100,000 - who are forced to live in cages measuring just 6ft by 2 1/2ft.

The lower cages are more expensive because you can almost stand inside them, but the conditions are no less squalid. Occupants must share toilets and washing facilities, which are rudimentary. Many of the apartments have no kitchens, forcing their impoverished residents to spend there meagre incomes on takeaway food. The cage homes have been a running scandal in Hong Kong's housing market for decades, yet rather than disappear, they are on the rise.

'I'm not disabled' insists waitress born with feet facing backwards

A waitress has refused to be classified as disabled even though she was born with feet that face backwards.
Wang Fang, 27, of Chongqing city in China, was born with her feet facing the wrong way, but has learned to live with her condition without problems and recently refused a disability pension.

She said: "I can run faster than most of my friends and have a regular job as a waitress in the family restaurant. There is no reason to class me as disabled."

Doctors and her family feared she would not be able to walk properly when she was born, but agreed that she can now outrun anyone she knows.

Wang, who has a five year-old son with normal feet, said: "I can walk as well as anyone else, and even run faster than them. I'm like everyone else - except of course that I put my shoes on backwards."

The remains of a woman were found sitting in front of her TV - 42 years after she was reported missing. Hedviga Golik, who was born in 1924, had apparently made herself a cup of tea before sitting in her favorite armchair in front of her black and white television set. Croatian police said that she was last seen by neighbors in 1966, when she would have been 42 years old. Her neighbors thought she had moved out of her flat in Zagreb.

However, she was found by police and bailiffs when they broke in to help the authorities establish who owned the flat. When officers went there, they said it was like stepping into a place frozen in time. The cup from which she had been drinking tea was still on a table next to the chair where she had been sitting, and the house was full of things no one had seen for a long time. Nothing had been disturbed for decades, although there were more than a few cobwebs in there.

Despite numerous actions by tenants, who noticed that nobody had been using the flat since 1970, as well as those by city services, which requested that the apartment be broken into and examined, nobody reacted to their pleas for nearly four decades.

You Won't Believe How Much These Fashion Editors Spend On Their Outfits

To be a fashion editor, one must have excellent taste -- but does that mean expensive taste? For Anna Dello Russo and Giovanna Battaglia, definitely. In a new video for Moda Operandi, Dello Russo, an editor for Vogue Japan, quips:

Anna: "To me, I have to look expensive. I need a kind of fifty..."
Giovanna: "$50,000!"

Anna: "$50,000 each outfit a day."

Anna claims they were only kidding, but we decided to put this to the test by choosing two outfits the fashion editors have recently worn and tallying up the approximate cost.* Keep in mind that these numbers don't include the pricey hair and makeup products undoubtedly used along with any outerwear they may or may not have sported throughout the day. Here's just one example:

Giovanna Battaglia, editor of L'Uomo Vogue

Total cost of dress, shoes and earrings: $8,715

Anna Dello Russo, editor-at-large for Vogue Japan

Total cost of dress: $68,000

Enough said.

*We found comparable items by the same or similarly-priced designers to approximate the cost. These numbers are estimates and in no way 100 percent accurate.

The world's oldest cosmetic face cream, complete with the finger marks of its last user 2,000 years ago, has been found by archaeologists excavating a Roman temple.

This is the first Centenarian man to complete a Marathon!
Fauja Singh has completed nine 26-mile (42-kilometer) marathons since taking up long-distance running just over a decade ago.

MYRTLE CORBIN – The Four-Legged Woman

Myrtle Corbin, was known as the Four-Legged Woman – however that moniker was slightly misleading. While at a glance one could plainly see four legs dangling beyond the hem of her dress – only one pair belonged to her, the other set to her dipygus twin sister.

Born in Lincoln County, TN in 1868 and spending most of her childhood in Blount County, AL – where she can be found in the 1880 census – her condition was incredibly rare. The tiny body of her twin was only fully developed from the waist down and even then it was malformed – tiny and possessing only three toes on each foot. Myrtle was able to control the limbs of her sister but was unable to use them for walking and she herself had a difficult time getting around as she was born with a clubbed foot. Technically, the ‘Four-Legged Woman’ only had one good, usable leg.

Myrtle was a popular attraction with P.T. Barnum, and later with Ringling Bros. and Coney Island. Her popularity was likely linked to her showmanship – she would often dress the extra limbs with socks and shoes matching her own and this gave her a truly surreal appearance. Myrtle was so popular that she was able to earn as much as $450 dollars a week.

At the age of 19 Myrtle married a doctor named Clinton Bicknell. It was then that other aspects of her bizarre anatomy became evident. It seems that her twin sister was also fully sexually formed – thus Myrtle possessed two vaginas. She had four daughters and a son and it has been rumored that three of her children were born from one set of organs and two from the other. Whether this is true or not; it is medically possible. In Anomalies and Curiosities of Medicine by George M. Gould and Walter L. Pyle it was observed that both vaginas menstruated – thus indicating both were possibly sexually functional.

Myrtle passed on May 6, 1928, surrounded by family and friends.

In Japan it is considered "ochobo," or rude for a girl to open her mouth wide in public. To sell more burgers a fast food chain invented the Liberation Wrapper. It is designed to hide your mouth while eating. I feel more liberated already.
